FAQ CENTER OF CARP TACKLE
PAYMENTS
How does payment work on carptackleworld.com?
Payments are made by the buyer through the platform and are processed exclusively by an external payment service provider.
Carp Tackle acts solely as a technical intermediary and is not a party to the sales contract between the buyer and the seller.
When does the seller receive the payment?
Payment is released to the seller only after valid shipment tracking information has been entered and after the verification timeframe has elapsed, in accordance with the procedures defined by the payment system.
Why are funds initially held?
Funds are temporarily held to allow the buyer to:
- verify that shipment tracking has been correctly provided;
- review the shipment status;
- report any anomalies within the applicable verification timeframe.
What happens if the buyer reports an issue related to shipment tracking?
If the buyer reports an issue within the applicable time limits, the release of funds may be temporarily suspended by the payment provider.
Funds will remain held until the shipment outcome is clarified in accordance with the procedures defined by the payment provider and the platform.
What happens if the package does not reach its destination?
If the package does not reach its destination and the buyer has correctly initiated the “Report Abuse” procedure within the verification timeframe, the funds will remain held. If shipment is not completed, the transaction will be handled in accordance with the procedures of the external payment service provider, which may result in a refund to the buyer.
Carp Tackle does not intervene in the transaction but facilitates communication and reporting through the platform’s tools.
SHIPPING
Who is responsible for shipping?
Shipping is always the responsibility of the seller.
Shipping costs, methods, and rates are specified directly by the seller within the listing published on the platform.
Is the seller required to provide tracking information?
Yes. Providing valid shipment tracking information is mandatory.
According to system rules, the seller has seven (7) days to ship the package and enter the tracking information.
If this time limit expires, the transaction is automatically cancelled and a full refund is issued to the buyer by the payment provider
How much time does the buyer have to verify the tracking information?
The buyer has forty-eight (48) hours from the moment the seller enters the tracking information to review and verify it.
Once the tracking information is submitted, the system automatically sends a notification to the buyer confirming that shipment tracking has been provided.
What can the buyer do if there are doubts about the tracking information?
Within forty-eight (48) hours from the submission of the tracking information, the buyer may use the “Report Abuse” function to report anomalies.
When a report is submitted within the verification timeframe, the release of funds may be temporarily suspended by the payment provider, pending clarification of the shipment status.
What happens if a “Report Abuse” is submitted within forty-eight (48) hours?
If the buyer submits a report within the applicable timeframe due to anomalies in the tracking information, the funds remain temporarily held.
The release of funds will follow the outcome of the shipment, based on the delivery confirmation issued by the carrier, in accordance with the procedures of the external payment provider.
Carp Tackle does not manage shipments and does not verify deliveries, but provides reporting and communication tools to support users during the process.
