Buyer Guide for the Community
1. How purchasing works on Carp Tackle
The purchasing process is simple, clear, and designed to protect both parties.
- Registration
To make a purchase, you must register by providing accurate and verifiable information.
Transparency is the foundation of a healthy community. - Equipment selection
You can browse listings, compare prices, photos, and descriptions, and send questions directly to the seller through the community’s public and shared messaging system about the item and the listing.
2. Make a payment with the option to pay in instalments with no interest
Choose the payment method that best suits your needs.
Carptackle.eu uses an external payment provider to ensure a secure and professional purchasing experience.
At the time of payment, if presente, you may request the instalment payment option for your purchases.
Selected payment providers may offer the possibility to pay in 3, 4, or more instalments with no interest, depending on availability.
3. Your funds are transferred only after the item has been shipped
Once the payment has been completed, the funds are temporarily held until the seller ships the item and provides the shipment tracking number. In the event that the payment is made through a BNPL (Buy Now, Pay Later) option, including interest-free installment payments (3/4 installments) or deferred payment solutions, the payment flow may vary. Users are therefore invited to review the Platform’s Terms of Use, specifically sections 7 and 7.1.
After receiving the tracking number, check it using the courier’s official tracking link.
If you have any doubts or notice any inconsistencies, you can use the “verification / report abuse” function in your personal area to stop the transfer of funds and wait until the package is actually received.
The system is designed to allow the buyer control over payment and shipping.
However, your cooperation is required. Please check your messages, emails, and platform communications regularly.
Tip for buyers:
Always read the equipment description and conditions carefully.
Do not hesitate to ask questions.
Complete your purchase only when you are fully confident.
4. Shipping and tracking
a) After payment, the seller is required to ship the equipment and enter the shipment tracking number.
The seller has a limited timeframe of 5 to 7 working days to complete this step.
If the seller fails to ship the item or provide the tracking number within this period, The transaction is automatically cancelled and the funds are fully refunded to the buyer through the payment method used for the purchase.
b) If the Seller provides a tracking number within the applicable timeframe:
- The delivery process becomes trackable;
- The Buyer has 48 hours to verify whether the tracking shows any anomalies;
- If the tracking is valid and the Buyer does not initiate any blocking action or verification through the “Report Abuse” function, the funds are automatically released to the Seller;
- If the Buyer detects anomalies in the provided tracking, they may block the transfer of funds until the shipment is actually received.
The Buyer is therefore always fully refunded, at no additional cost, in the event that a tracking number is not provided within the 5–7 day shipping timeframe, or if the parcel is not delivered following the initiation of a “Report Abuse” procedure, as the funds are held until actual delivery.
